I bought recently all is good and runs well. My only complaint is I believe the door when opened leans too low and of your dishes are super heavy the rack will keep on rolling out not too good for the dishes.

The one feature that I like about this machine is the one hour cycle. Some dishwashers take forever to complete a cycle, but a quick wash is sometimes better and necessary.

A great buy, however, the drying cycle misses a few spots. It is quieter than our very old one that was replaced by this one. The utensil basket seems loose a lot and gives off a distasteful odor - after the wash. And, if you're not careful, the bottom rack can come rolling off the door when placing dirty dishes. Other than those things mentioned, this dishwasher does a pretty, good job.

I purchased this dishwasher as part of my kitchen update as we had purchased an 80 year old home that never had a dishwasher!! So many dishwashers out there.. and I picked this one based on online reviews.. I have had it for about a month and love all the features, especially the 1-hour wash cycle. When I first opened the newly installed machine, there was a foul odor. I thought it would dissipate after a couple of uses, but it did not. After about 10 uses, I called customer service, and they sent a technician. He proclaimed that "it is the plastic that smells" and suggested that I merely use dishwasher cleaners. I have done that repeatedly during the last few weeks, but to no avail. There is a horrible odor that just won't go away. I either want the problem resolved, or I want a new non-stinky replacement! Please respond!

Beautiful, sleek exterior. We are very excited to have a USA manufactured appliance. The ONLY disappointment is the utensil holder. That is the reason for the 3 stars instead of the 4. The slots for spoons, knives, forks only has one row that fits our utensils. I have one row that is useless. Might not seem like a big deal, but I really do not like putting them in a bunch in the "open" part (lid flipped up). I do appreciate that the utensil holder can be placed on the door or in the rack. This is a great option.
It works beautifully and I love the 1-Hour Wash cycle which really works!

This DW replaced a 20 year old Kenmore that had a defective and no longer available timer. It's at least 15 pounds lighter, thanks to the plastic tub and other light weight materials. Installation wasn't difficult but I did have to buy the hose adapter with elbow separately ($6.99 at Lowe's). Whirlpool should include that part with the dishwasher, since it's impossible to hook up the supply line without it. The machine has done a great job on the two loads I've run through it and was satisfactorily quiet. It takes twice as long as the previous machine but it's supposed to be more energy efficient. Since the controls are all electronic there's no way to tell which point in the process the machine is at. Too bad Whirlpool didn't engineer some status lights to track its process. There's only a blue "CLEAN" light which illuminates when the machine is completely finished.

This is my 3rd whirlpool dishwasher and the only thing I don't like is where the soap dispenser is as it interfears with the silverware holder. The dispenser needs to be moved up so it doesn't interfear with the silverware.

This machine came installed in our new home. The machine was new. I dislike the fact that at the end of the cycle there is still water on the inside of the door and all the walls of the machine. I end up having to practically crawl inside the machine to dry it. I use the heat cycle plus the temp boost. I also use a rinse agent and I make sure the water is hot before I start the machine. I have also turned up my hot water heater temperature. The repair man has replaced all the parts he can,and gets NO CODES indicating there is anything wrong. I would NEVER recommend this machine to anyone. The inside is made of cheap plastic and every dishwasher should have a fan to aid in the drying cycle.

I received this as a gift for my anniversary from my daughter and her husband. It's perfect. I was looking for a machine that didn't have a stainless steel interior, since I have extremely hard water. It runs so quiet that I can hardly tell when it is on.
