I purchased this about 6 weeks ago. So far I love it. Best thing about it is the fact that the controls are in the middle of the height of the 2 machine portion. No needing a step ladder to get tot the top controls All in all it has been a pleasure to use and does a good job.

Purchased from Home Depot where sales staff were very helpful. The install went well and I love the washer/dryer unit. It looks good but the thing I love is controls are in the middle so no height involved to reach them.

The good: now that I fixed it this unit works well and is very quiet. You can barely tell that it is running The bad: I installed it and started performing tests as per the manual. It heated up but was kind of smokey? Then would not heat up only air dry. Contacted LG and that person said I needed my vent professionally cleaned... So I took apart my dryer myself and discovered that the tube with the element was detached from the back air port and was resting on the floor of the dryer. Which explains why the high limit fuse was blown no actual airflow through the tube when disconnected So I ordered some fuses swapped it out and good to go. Happily this unit disassembles pretty easily Had I not just DIYd it I fear Id still be waiting.. The Ugly: had unit delivered and there was some damage- front face of the dryer had some creases in sheet metal. Cosmetic only and Home Depot gave me some $ to compensate. Also the strike plate for the dryer door was cracked. LG sent me a new one to swap in. TLDR - delivery and quality control issues I had to fix myself to make this work. Happy now though.

I was against buying LG to begin with however in my area theyre the only ones that have the tower combo washer/dryer From the purchased it took three tries to deliver it with two times. Their product was damaged upon insulation on the third try and getting it right they installed it improperly. Then it took them two different companies and three weeks later to not get it fixed for me to hire a handyman and have a fix in 15 minutes because they broke the vent pipe to the back when they pushed it in and didnt pay attention as they installed it which caused a D80 code which I notified them which prompted all these other Service issues and communicating with LG is almost nearly impossible. I knew better than to buy an LG. I just didnt realize it was this bad its to the point where if they would pay me back my money and come get their machine. Id want it out of my house. Oh and dont be fooled I even sent a letter to the CEO. The president didnt matter. My time is worthless to them people DONTBUY LG

Purchased on 10/25/24and unit has not worked properly since install. LG does not have any techs available to repair unit. Unit gives a D98 error saying the duct work is blocked but the duct work isnt blocked because it isnt hooked up. I would not recommend this product.

Bought this from Home Depot. Unfortunately only had 2 days to perform a return. The third day is when the dreadful loud banging noise started with the washing machine. LG customer service is trash. It has been 3 months and still not a visit to fix this issue one that they admit shouldnt be happening.

We bought a different brand after we bought the house in2013. The tub would only hold a small amount of water so when I was doing a larger load I would have to put a couple of buckets of water in the tub. The machine was very noisy. Our son has this same LG Washtower and it works great at his business. We are loving it doing the laundry. It is a very quite machine and very efficient.

I bought this washer dryer combo 1 year and 6 months ago. First the error message on the dryer to clear filter never goes out. Even when you clear clean and vacuum the filter area. Second the washer has picked clothes multiple runs in sheets to the point when they are ruined. Third I have done trouble shooting many many times and called the LG hotline to try to get this resolved. I called Home Depot where I purchased it. Unfortunately they told me they cant get a service center in my area to come out. So they sent me a email saying they would give me 100.00 and I would have to get someone myself. Im very frustrated that the warranty that was bought and the service from Home depot and LG have not helped. Would I recommend this washer dryer combo? .... Actions speak louder than words in my situation...

Second the washer picks clothes and sheets. I have cleaned done troubleshooting per tech. Googled and called again and again to try to get a service through the Warranty department of Home Depot. I received a email stating they could not find a service that would service my unit in Charleston SC of all places. So the email said they would give me 100.00 and I could get my own service. Third I purchased a warranty extra so I would not have to hire someone. I am very frustrated with Home Depot and the LG department.

The dryer drum has a crack where it was welded together its catching my families clothing in it and ruining them When I call LG they ask if you have an extended warranty if not there is nothing they can do My dryer is 2 years old When you call the companies they recommend they dont service the area I live or say the cost of repair is close to buying a new dryer??

After a recent visit to my local home improvement center I knew I wanted stackable/front loading machines for my small walk-in laundry room in an effort to maximize floor space to allow for additional storage options. Being vertically challenged I found it difficult to reach the controls for the top unit without a step stool and was very excited to find the Washtower solved my space and accessibility concerns without sacrificing capacity. Cycle customization and monitoring for both washer and dryer is easy with the use of the LG ThinQ app. Cant recommended this product enough

Its been 16 months and I am surprised how awesome this machine is. Water efficiency is amazing my water bill actually went down. I was skeptical of how clean my clothes got with so little water in the tub but they come out fresh and clean. With many downloadable wash cycles to choose from this baby is awesome. Easy to use an easy on the eyes when I get my utility bills. I dont give it a 5 star rating cause it cant unload fold and iron my clothes. Lol

The washer sometimes knocks and makes load noice. The dryer is very quiet and is working great. Not sure if theres a balance problem when there isnt a full load. I have not seen anything in the instructions to address this problem. Will consult the manual. Otherwise everything else is okay

First I love an LG product. We have been together for over 14 years. Every item that I have from them still works -phones tablets earbuds TVs Fridges. This is the first tower that I have had and I love it Its space-saving Uber modern and it performs efficiently my electric bill has decreased I also know that the clothes are cleaner than my old side-by-side rival machine. I was a bit worried about having this type of washer because I owned a similar one in the past not LG and the smell was still stinky after the cleaning cycle. LG is transparent in their instructions in caring for the machine. There is no musty smell in the drum. This fits any household and can handle your delicates and heavy duty loads Its pretty quiet too An adjustable chime when done for both machines. The app is a great tool for this machine as well The cost I paid was also great with a promotion.

I bought my Washtower unit in November of 2023. I loved it. It was great until it wasnt. My dryer just totally stopped but the washer was still working. The unit is still under warranty. The problem I had was trying to get in touch with ANYONE at LG in customer service to set up an appointment for service. The choices werent very clear to me and I was either getting hung up on or told that my choice was not right. This happened many times over 3 days. I got so upset I finally just practically screamed to talk to a service agent. I finally got a human to talk to and things eventually got worked out. Oh and dont do the texting live chat unless you are a super speedy texter. Im not and I got cut off while I was still texting. Im an old lady and speed is something I dont have anymore. But let me say that I do like the unit I just had problems with customer service. I finally talked to a great agent and they sent out a wonderful technician.
